Buchan Burn
Back into my archive for this one from March 2023.
There was plenty of water as I headed up to the summit of Merrick in the Galloway Hills, the highest point in southern Scotland. Heading up my anti-clockwise route, via a series of lochs at increasing altitudes, the waterfalls were numerous, but as I descended I was alongside Buchan Burn for a while, and the falls were foaming.
It was a long, cold and wet day but was stunning with it!!
