Let us take
you there

We take clients on some wonderful walks, including the examples below. You can pick one of these, you could take a look at our blog to see lots of other walks we've enjoyed, or just get in touch and tell us where you'd like to start (eg if you're on holiday), some info about yourselves and what you'd like to experience, and we'll take it from there and put together your own day.
Your walk can be anything from just a few hours of good walking, through to a full-day challenge taking in waterfalls galore with as many summits as you can manage. Prices start at £140, get in touch so we can quote you for your day.

Some of our favourite private guided walks

The Lake District, north-west England

Heading west from Grasmere

Waterfalls and tarns, and (if you'd like!) summits too

This is a great walk, with a few options available, but all taking in the falls of Sour Milk Gill as it flows from Easedale Tarn (see here for a recent blog about this walk). There's a longer walk taking in some summits to the north and west before finally dropping down to the falls, a slightly shorter route still heading high first but to the south of the falls before then dropping down, or a more straightforward there and back option - take your pick!!

Above Great Langdale

Waterfalls and summits around the Langdale Pikes

The Great Langdale valley lies west of Ambleside, heading deep into the central and western fells. We stop half-way along, at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, and head up alongside the waterfalls of Stickle Ghyll up to Stickle Tarn. From here you have choices - keep going and take in 4/5 of the local summits, a shorter walk to take in 2 summits, or just chill and head back down the falls - your choice!!
Take a look at one of our blog posts for more info on a recent walk in this area.

Eskdale and beyond

Ravines, rivers and the railway in and around Eskdale

Although a little off the beaten track Eskdale's distance from the main tourist routes around the Lake District can mean a little more space to wander, lonely as a cloud...  You can choose to arrive in the valley by steam train from Ravenglass and as well as seeking out the falls we can also hit the hills and the odd tarn.

Around Buttermere

Stunning high falls in a wonderful location

The tiny village of Buttermere sits in the middle of two bodies of water (Buttermere and Crummock Water) and is surrounded by stunning fells and yet more stunning waterfalls. There are almost too many to choose from but Scale Force and Moss Force are must-see falls, and we can take it from there depending on your time and energy levels!!

Eryri, North Wales

Around Llyn Ogwen

Spectacular scenery, spectacular falls

I love this part of Eryri around Llyn Ogwen, with the Glyderau and the Carneddau either side of the A5. With park-and-ride available from Bethesda, and fewer visitors than Yr Wyddfa, it's a great place to start any walk. There's plenty of summits to tackle and some amazing waterfalls to visit - one of our guided walks can be tailored to suit your walking and waterfall desires.

Elsewhere in Great Britain

Ask me!!

The Skye's the limit...

I love waterfalls and have sought them out wherever I've walked across England, Scotland and Wales. If there's an area you're visiting that you'd like me to develop a guided walk, or walks, for you then just let me know. Three of my favourites are below, left to right;
  • Allt Dearg Mor, above Sligachan, Skye
  • Buchan Burn, below Merrick, Galloway Hills, southern Scotland
  • Eas More, Glenbrittle, Skye
